Why this exists
Most healthcare salary lookups force you to scroll one profession at a time. This tool flips it: pick the variable that matters most to you (a state you can move to, a profession you're considering, a pay floor you need) and filter the other dimensions against it. The dataset is identical to what powers the per-profession pages on this site.
What's not in this dataset
Hourly wages (we display annual; divide by 2,080 for hourly), entry-level salaries (these are medians, which mid-career workers earn — entry roles typically run 80–90% of the median), and shift differential (night-and-weekend premiums add 10–25% to base pay in many roles but aren't captured in OEWS). The numbers here are the best widely-comparable benchmark, not your literal first paycheck.
