Privacy policy

What we collect

We use Google Analytics 4 to collect aggregate, anonymous usage data: pages visited, browser type, country-level location, time on page, and referral source. This data is not personally identifying and is used only to understand which content is useful so we can improve it.

We don't ask for your name, email, or other personal information unless you voluntarily contact us. Our calculators store inputs only in your browser and never transmit them to our servers.

Cookies

We use cookies for: (a) Google Analytics measurement, (b) Google AdSense advertising, and (c) basic site functionality. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; most of the site will continue to function. The interactive ROI calculator and salary search tool work entirely in your browser and don't require cookies.

Third parties

The site uses these third-party services:

• Google AdSense — serves advertising. Google's ad privacy policy. You can opt out of personalized ads at adssettings.google.com.
• Google Analytics 4 — measures anonymous traffic patterns.
• Unsplash — serves hero images. Unsplash may set its own cookies.
• Google Fonts — serves the Inter typeface.
• Affiliate program directories — when you click an affiliate link, you're taken to the partner site, which has its own privacy policy.

Affiliate disclosure

We earn a commission when you click certain "Find programs" links and ultimately enroll in a program. The commission doesn't affect what you pay or what we publish. Affiliate links are labeled "Sponsored" where they appear.

Your rights

If you're in the EU, EEA, UK, or California, you have rights under GDPR or CCPA, including the right to request a copy of any personal data we hold about you and the right to request deletion. Since we don't collect personally identifying information unless you email us, our records about you are typically limited to email correspondence. Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with an updated "last updated" date.
